Parking: Please do not park in any "Reserved" parking head spaces, your vehicle will be towed without notice at your expense.
Parking is free in unmarked spaces in either of the building’s two lots: one on the West side, adjacent to the building, and the other on the North side, across the street in front of the building's main entrance. Additionally, there is plenty of metered street parking available. Please be aware that spotters from the towing company monitor these lots. If they see you leaving to go to any location other than our building at 5901, your vehicle will be towed.
APPOINTMENT HEALTH GUIDELINES
Please cancel your appointment if any of the following apply, or you can call or text me if you're unsure:

- if you or anyone in your household was exposed or is currently positive for COVID-19
- if you've had a fever in the last 24 hours of 100ºF or greater
- if you are not feeling well or experiencing even mild symptoms such as:
- shortness of breath, fatigue
- runny nose, sinus allergies, nasal or chest congestion
- Common Cold, Flu or Strep Throat symptoms: chills, muscle aches, cough, headache, sore throat
- Stomach flu/virus, food poisoning, (gastroenteritis)
- you or anyone in your household are currently waiting for any COVID-19 test results
- If you recently received a vaccination, wait a minimum of 3 days, before scheduling your next appointment
Following any period of illness, you may reschedule your appointments ONLY IF YOU ARE COMPLETELY SYMPTOM FREE, and after a MINIMUM OF 10 DAYS from the onset of COVID-19 or FLU symptoms.
PLEASE DO NOT SCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT SOONER OR SHOW UP WITH SYMPTOMS OF ILLNESS AS YOU WILL BE DENIED TREATMENT AND FORFEIT YOUR SESSION.
UPDATED APPOINTMENT RESCHEDULING POLICIES
- APPOINTMENT RESCHEDULING MUST BE DONE NO LESS THAN 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE TO AVOID FORFEIT OF YOUR SESSION.

No-shows
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged the full amount for their “missed” appointment.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.
Refund Policy (Read first before you pay for your appointment!)
THERE ARE NO REFUNDS; including Prepaid Sessions, Gift Certificates, or Massage Series. All Prepaid Sessions, Gift Certificates or Series are good indefinitely. Whole or remaining Prepaid sessions, Massage series or Gift Certificates, are transferable to another individual one time only.
New Protocols for In-Office Appointments:
In addition to the already high standards of daily sanitation maintenance, personal health and hygiene practices applied in my practice and required in the massage and bodywork profession, I will continue taking extra precautions to protect and prevent the spread of viruses in my clinic by implementing these additional measures:
- You may be asked and required to wear a face mask if the therapist deems it necessary
- you are required to complete and update your medical history online intake form
- there will be a pre-appointment screening either by phone call or text message
- adolescents 17 years of age and younger must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian, and must remain present in the treatment room throughout the entire session; no drop-offs.
- thoroughly disinfecting and sanitizing the entire treatment room and equipment after every appointment using EPA approved disinfectants
- keeping the air quality in my office clean and safe by using a medical grade (HEPA) certified, high efficiency particulate air purifier
- it is preferred to arrive for your appointment having previously showered following any exercise activity
- hand sanitizer will be provided as well as access to restroom sinks for proper hand washing
- facial tissue will be provided for personal use during proper coughing and sneezing etiquette
- the use of nitrile latex-free gloves can be implemented if preferred by the client or therapist during treatment
As I take every reasonable precaution to protect myself and my clients, please understand there can be no guarantee made that either you or I will come away from our interactions unscathed. If you choose to receive manual/massage/bodywork, the risk here will be mutually shared despite any enhanced safety protocols. I ask that you acknowledge the following waiver should you decide to seek therapy at my office.
I understand that, because manual/massage/bodywork therapy involves maintained touch and close physical proximity over an extended period of time, there may be an elevated risk of disease transmission, including COVID-19 or Flu. I acknowledge that I am aware of the risks involved and give consent to receive therapy from Christian Ruiz, LMT.
If you agree, I'll be happy to see you soon. If not, that's ok and I will certainly respect your decision to wait for a later time in the future.

Conditions requiring medical diagnosis and/or physical therapy will be referred out.
